Does anyone have any good news sources on this?

Theres complete silence on regular news, my best forum source has closed because of advertising and my best blog source has wandered off to start obsessing about gaza.

I've seen various reports from HTS about high SAA casulaties, the SAA claim they have taken Al-bana and are advancing on Kafr Nboudeh which means nothing to me except it seems to be on a plateau so that suggests theyre still playing by the old Hezbollah playbook and taking the high ground so they can control the area with artillery.
The Russian military forum has posters who seem to have access to good sources but dunno if they’re any better about this specifically.

SAA has made a breakthough in Northern Hama, capturing Kafr Nabudah. It appears it will strike East now to cut off HTS troops in the Northern Hama bulge. Also, SAA has opened a second front and is advancing in Latakia.

I don't have reliable information on SAA casualties. I did see reports today of at least one HTS SVBIED and the accidental targeting of SAA positions by the Syrian Airforce, both in the Kafr Nabudah area.

Its a well tried tactic by now, they have overwhelming firepower so put on steady pressure, push forward in limited objectives, wait for the inevitable counterattack and when its broken push on some more.

There comes a point where the opposition runs out of men and machines to counter-attack so their choices are either sit in the ruins and be pounded to oblivion, fight in the ruins and be picked out by specialist street fighters or run away.

Tiger force and the 4th armoured divison are being used, these are the SAAs premier fighting units although from what i've seen 4th division is the urban armoured specialists and Tiger force does mobility, either way it says theyre taking it seriously...or, you know the second rank SAA divisions still have problems.

HTS have been advertising a large counter-offensive and great gains where theyre back in Kafr naboudah.

SAA claiming they broke up a large HTS attack before it hot anywhere with pictures of shot up VBIED's

Lets see whos telling the truth after the smoke clears.
