Well, looks like the rebels were correct on that one, heavy fighting in Kafr Naboudah, HTS got tanks int the town but suffered heavy losses in armour and manpower doing it. SAA casualties unstated but from the sound of it theyd prepared for a counter-attack and heavily mined the area. Jaish al Izza seems to have atacked directly over a minefield, SAA are claiming they lost 17 men there, at least 60 over the last couple of days out of fighting manpower of 1000 men. Assume three wounded for every fatality and they are not doing well.

I think they learned that idea four years ago.

Theyve pulled a good number of HTS and other militias out into the open, id guess a few days of artillery and aerial attack to clear out the survivors the send in ground forces or open another couple of attacks and pincer them.

The Russians really do have an obsession with cauldrons.

And we're back.

After the rebel counter-attack on Kafr naboudah the SAA moved in and retook it in an hour, HTS then ran large attack to throw them out and rescue their units trapped inside. SAA seem quite happy with the way the attack was decimated before it started and they found HTS and other rebels in cellars so they basically sealed up the cellars and left them to die.

This is not a pleasant war.

That was a week ago, theres a new SAA attack coming out of Kafr Naboudah towards Qasabiyah, HTS is resisting so its slow going.

Quick update. After the quick capture of Kafr Nabudah the SAA continued making slow progress to the north east intending to take Qasabiyah.

HTS have given up on counterattacking 4th divison and Tiger force and have instead started attacking the more thinly defended SAA outposts north Hama and have gained ground, presumably hoping to divert SAA manpower and Russian air cover.

After their recent ban from Youtube ANNA news are back so we've got decent quality video of the fighting again.

Nice source my friend.
There are some new videos in the chanel, including some fighting in the north, between "pro turkish" groups.
