The dependence on wikipedia

I think we historians shouldn't rely so much on wikipedia. What say you?
I think it's a good quick fix to get information quickly on the 'net. Although some articles are a mess most serve their purpose especially the important ones.

One advantage of the site since it's not academic and professional is a lot of information one couldn't find on sites like "Britannica" is very much available there.
