Interesting- not much information but seems fairly easy to trace the extent of the wall and any monolithic structure that large is fascinating given the labour hours and organization it took to build.

Yes, this should be a tremendous effort of the Parthian?, Sassanid? Empire. Curiously, there are many more walls extending by the northern side of Iran, the Great Wall of Gorgan, for example

Red snake or Gorgan wall and Darband wall are two significant examples of Sassanid structures. It is said up to 30k soldiers were stationed in red snake to gaurd the border.
