I am wanting to really study the pyramids after reading a book about Khufu and the great pyramid. Which book would you recommend that is best for a chronological account of all the pyramids?

Lehner, "The Complete Pyramids" is probably best for an overall view of the state of the art. However be advised that most of what is believed about the great pyramids is highly speculative and based on a few assumptions.

1. How certain are scholars regarding the construction date(s0 for the pyramids? And how old are they?

2. We're the pyramids built at the same time as the Sphynx?

3. How certain are scholars of which Pharaoh built the pyramids or was there more than one?

4. Did the Jews even exist as an identifiable group at the time of the pyramids and if so, what proof is there that they worked on the pyramids?

5. Is there any evidence that the Red Sea actually parted?

1. How certain are scholars regarding the construction date(s0 for the pyramids? And how old are they?
There is a pretty good timeline that has been established to relate the various reigns to one another. There is no means to tie this timeline to an absolute scale. C14 dating suggests the pyramids are probably a little older than generally accepted.

2. We're the pyramids built at the same time as the Sphynx?
Unknown. The Sphinx probably existed before G2 but it's relationship with G1 is less certain.

3. How certain are scholars of which Pharaoh built the pyramids or was there more than one?
Who built the pyramids isn't established but there's no real doubt that the pyramids are appropriately assigned to the proper kings. G1 was almost certainly known to people of that time as "Khufu's Horizon" and someone we know as "Khufu" was the king.

4. Did the Jews even exist as an identifiable group at the time of the pyramids and if so, what proof is there that they worked on the pyramids?
Probably not according to experts. There are only a very few jobs known to be associated with great pyramid building anyway.

5. Is there any evidence that the Red Sea actually parted?
It most probably did not.

There's an interesting new theory that the story had a referent to the time when Jewish slaves worked the water control dams on the Fayuum about 1700 BC and they escaped not across the "Red Sea" but actually across the "Sea of Reeds" which is the nile River in the off season. But this was many centuries after C14 suggests the Great Pyramid was built in 2700 BC.

Thank you. This helps.

Turkey.
The greatest pyramids made by human kind are on Bosnia. They are made by illyrians. 1 is inside hill Visoćica and the other one is inside hill pljeśevica.
But I think you talk here about the Egyptian pyramids. :p
