The relations between greeks and barbarians

You mean how they got along? Simple, the same as barbarians or Greeks got along amongst themselves. They traded and interacted constantly, and sometimes they fought. Obviously the Greeks are the ones who left us the most literature, and obviously they were the ones who considered themselves civilized and superior. But anyone who doesn't think that non-Greeks were JUST as arrogant and "superior" is kidding themselves.

If you mean how the various people were actually related, couldn't tell you! You'd have to get more specific about "barbarians", for starters.

Which barbarians ancient greeks had the most respect for? For the intellectual or the belligerent ones? Is it true that the greek civilization was an amalgamation of the civilizations around achaia?
