When the chicken crossed the [rail] road.

Railroad cars in the mid 19th Century were fairly basic. In the post bellum era, this created a business opportunity in the town of Gordonsville, Virginia, for African American women who supplied fried chicken to hungry passengers.

I'm aware of that. I mean when you say "Indians don't like sticky rice", are you referring to short grain rice or glutinous rice?
I agree with you, non sticky rice are highly prized in India, what I said, in India we also have non-sticky small grained rice. There is one cooking technique, soaking rice for half an hour in normal water and then drying it in the air, this reduces the stickiness of the rice.
