One can read articles of this sort that pop up here and there in science journals,TV etc

How about a human footprint estimated from the Permian Era and discovered in New Mexico ?
But wait, that's before even the time of the dinosaurs...or is it !?

Here is a link to the material in question.

This 290-million-year-old human footprint has experts baffled | Ancient Code

Another out of place discovery made in the small Texas town of London and known as the London Hammer dated to be 400 mln years old.
But there were no humans then...or were they !?

But wait there is more....the 200 Mln years old shoe print puzzle.

Were there any dinos 2.8 Bln years ago, because SOMEONE made these spheres..

shh, this is the stuff historians don't want us to know about. like the double-tooth giants.

interesting how 'civilization' seemed to arise in Sumer / fertile crescent so suddenly.
theory is that the antediluvian world progressed to an unknown degree but got flooded out (see 'Noah'; also, Epic of Gilgamesh).
one variation is that they were centered in Antarctica; the massive geologic changes of the flood event moved the continent (or moved the earth in relation to the sun) so it got iced over and hid all the cities etc.

for those who reject the Bible, there's 'catastrophism', which suggests that every few thousand years the earth gets blasted by a comet or meteor or other event and whatever civilization there is gets erased and humanity has to reset. guy in the 50s named Velikovsky championed this ('Worlds in Collision').
IIRC he specifically said that the planet Venus was a rogue comet captured by our gravity, which explains its retro rotation.

real interesting book called 'Timeless Earth' by Kolosimo examines non-chronological discoveries, lost technologies, etc. (not affiliated with)

Ah, yes the typical approach of crazy people. Find one consequence of a well established theory which is a little counter intuitive and, inexplicably, use that as evidence that the whole thing must be rejected entirely. Replace it with a theory with vasts amounts of holes in them, each of which is far larger and more counter intuitive than the original "problem". Completely ignore these (say that you haven't got all the answers and are instead just asking question), and focus instead on how it "resolves" the original problem. Reject all evidence that backs the original theory, and all evidence that discredits your new theory, as being part of a conspiracy. Make no attempt to explain why the conspiracy exists or how it's able to function.

Feel very smug about yourself about not being a sheep and thinking for yourself.

Sailorsam, since we opted to involve Sumer in the equation,it'll only make sense to mention that they are the first source
to mention in their cuneiforms their overlords - space aliens that gave them Knowledge in exchange for physical labor in extracting gold for the extraterrestrial visitors.

Art of the Deal...if you will.

Sumerians got the wheel,irrigation,agriculture,beer,trade,alphabet etc
Space visitors received gold for their efforts

The London hammer doesn’t stand up to objective scrutiny:

The London Artifact (Texas) - Bad Archaeology

Likewise, the Klerksdorp spheres also have a natural geological origin. Just because something looks man made doesn’t mean it is so.

Klerksdorp sphere - Wikipedia

Interesting train of thought. I personally prefer Wikipedia as a quick source to everything.Just that Wiki didn't print the other side of the coin...the story of the original owner, who like the owner of the Coso arthefact had their lawful ancient property confiscated and these
lovers of history and archaeology don't want to talk much about their discoveries...gentle persuasion on part of Uncle Sam.

Sure beats your Social Security check stopped and having to dig through trash bins for your next meal in the sunset of your life.

Coso artifact - Wikipedia

Owner of the prehistoric find claims that the picture of the Coso Artefact is not the real picture of the archaeological item he dug out of the rocks.

Also...the London hammer disappeared mysteriously too

It's difficult the persuade medieval catholic High court of the Holy Inquisition that Earth is round, you know...

Did we mention the fraudsters from the Smithsonian destroying skeletons of ancient giants to " protect"
the theory of evolution...read all about it

I have allways wandered why the space aliens needed manual labour extracting gold? After all they have the technology for inter stellar travel but they needed someone to dig? (apparently with the hammer shown in the earlier post)

Well... If the aliens were stupid enough to drop down into the gravity well instead of mining safely and soundly from the asteroid belt (which should be fairly trivial when some one has the ability for interstellar travel) then who knows what they would have done. After all that alone would indicate that they wouldn't exactly have been the sharpest pencils in the drawer.
