I recently found this video and I thought it would be a good idea to share it with you guys, hoping to see interesting reactions and discussions:


I think it's odd that no one thought about clarifying things to Frankfurt, since it was pretty obvious that it was having difficulties understanding what was going on. They had a German crew. At some point, Titanic mentions "boats" (to mean "lifeboats") and Frankfurt obviously thinks Titanic was talking about ships (and asks if there are ships already near Titanic).

I noticed that Cape Race referred to Titanic as "him" rather than "her" ("his power may be gone"), that was interesting.

He is either the radio operator or the captain, the radio operator working under the captain's authority and on his behalf. Sometimes in war movies or war records/documents you'll see one captain referring to the enemy ship as 'he' as in 'At this time he made a 60 degree turn to port.' He being the captain of the other ship.
