You are simply stateless. In the former eastern block they forced thise people to emigtae or they waited untill they made a trip abroad and didn't let them in again.

But I am curious, does that mean Erdogan as IS promoter will lose his citizenship?

So Erdogan had better watch out!

EDIT: beorna beat me to it.

I wonder how many journalists critical of him will suddenly find themselves labelled as supporters of terrorism.

OK what is wrong with Germany? They're actually going to open a case against someone for insulting Erdoğan? Actually they haven't decided if they're going to open criminal charges but looks like they're considering it.

Yeah, is that even legally possible? Erdoğan can do that?

It is unbelieveable that the EU succumbs to Erdoğan's whimsies because of the refugee deal they did. I mean, they are also condoning crimes against democracy in Turkey but they are helping the mega-evolution of a monster, which will sooner or later backfire at 'em.

The article says Germany has a law agains insulting foreign leaders. I wonder how often it's applied. I mean did Bush get through 8 years in the White House without German comedians making fun of him?

i don't know and as i understand that article can be enforced if there is a request by the insulted party (did it happen?).
though he could be tired if he said the same about any German politician too. imo his "satire" went to insult and defamation at least, that is known and punished in many European criminal laws. esp if also accusing somebody with crimes (kicking, beating certain peoples, watching child porn...) it is no longer just joke. He could well be in trouble if he accused any people with these publicly.
