While using sources, it is said that Jesus was born between 6 and 4 BC and He was crucified between AD 30 and 36. What time period was this? So did He live and die in the Medieval Ages? Please clear this up for me.

Jesus lived in Ancient Times, also called Antiquity, also called Roman Times. The Ancient Period runs from the invention of literacy to the fall of Roman Empire circa 500 CE.

Jesus lived in Ancient Times, also called Antiquity, also called Roman Times. The Ancient Period runs from the invention of literacy to the fall of Roman Empire circa 500 CE.
The Ancient Period may start with the invention of literacy but it is usually considered to end with the fall of the WESTERN administrative division of the Roman Empire about 476, 480, or 500 CE. More correct dates for the fall of the Roman Empire as a whole include 1204, 1453, 1460, 1461, and 1806, among other dates.

Jesus also lived during what is called Classical Antiquity, the period defined as:

Conventionally, it is taken to begin with the earliest-recorded Epic Greek poetry of Homer (8th–7th century BC), and continues through the emergence of Christianity and the fall of the Western Roman Empire (5th century AD). It ends with the dissolution of classical culture at the close of Late Antiquity (300–600), blending into the Early Middle Ages (600–1000). Such a wide sampling of history and territory covers many disparate cultures and periods. Classical antiquity may refer also to an idealised vision among later people of what was, in Edgar Allan Poe's words, "the glory that was Greece, and the grandeur that was Rome."[2]
Classical antiquity - Wikipedia

Or roughly 1,000 to 1,400 years from about 800/700 BC to 300/600 AD.

Since the New Testament of the bible is mostly about the life and teachings of Jesus, by definition Jesus lived during the New Testament era.

Wikipedia is not that bad for this kind of doubts: Middle Ages - Wikipedia

“In the history of Europe, the Middle Ages (or medieval period) lasted from the 5th to the 15th century. It began with the fall of the Western Roman Empire and merged into the Renaissance and the Age of Discovery. The Middle Ages is the middle period of the three traditional divisions of Western history: classical antiquity, the medieval period, and the modern period.”

More correct dates for the fall of the Roman Empire as a whole include 1204, 1453, 1460, 1461, and 1806, among other dates.
More correctly those dates for the end of the Roman Empire deserve their own thread… in the Chamber :)

Middle Ages is seen as the "Middle" separating the Classical Period(distinguished by the Roman Empire and other large civilizations) from the Modern period or the Dark Ages since the age is generally viewed as the gap between two successful eras for the West. The Middle Ages is identified by the fall of Rome(which conquered most of the Classical Empires) which as others have described is pretty ambiguous. This is from a Western European perspective though so it is usually placed when the Western Roman Empire fell not the Roman Empire(some of those other dates cited are clearly after the Middle Ages ended). Still ambiguous regardless with some people putting it at 476(which imo makes no sense at all even among dates in that century) and me preferring a later date in the 7th century.

Anyhow Jesus died during the Classical period around 0. In religion remember being taught that Jesus lived to be 33 and the Bible mostly covers the last three years of his life.So I've always just assumed 33 AD. Jesus's life was during the reign of the first two Roman Emperor's and was several decades after the lives of Julius Caesar, Mark Anthony, Cleopatra etc. Jesus lived in Judea the Jewish Kingdom, which was part of the Roman Empire but had been autonomously run by a Roman supported Jewish monarch(the Jews had traditionally had a King). You notice through the New Testament this autonomy fading as in the beginning when Jesus is a baby Rome is ruled by King Herod and by the end in part due to Herod's brutality the region is controlled by a Roman puppet governor Pilate. The setting of the Bible moves to other parts of the Roman Empire after Jesus's death.
