I would not be too sure about that. The Aryan-Dravidian divide, for instance, keeps cropping up every now & again, even as everybody keeps trying to sweep that one under the carpet every time.
A so called Dravidian and Aryan Divide never existed during ancient or medieval period. This idea was introduced by the British.
These days most Indians do not care about this apart from a few exceptions like a few politicians who try to trigger some voters pretty
much the same way Trump does it these days in the USA

Aryan-Dravidian divide was invented by British for Divide and rule to weaken Indian nationalism and to weaken Hinduism among South Indian Hindus to clear a path for converting South Indian Hindus, it popped up just 200 years back. Dravida referred to regions of Tamil Nadu and Kerala, British reinvented into a race. Similarly, Aryan means "Noble", it is never mentioned as a text in any of Indian ancient text, the Europeans first reinvented it into race for their one nationalistic purpose when they found Indian languages are related to European language followed by British extending it to Indian as a "Divide and rule" policy.

Not true, as far as who is really trying to divide India. Hindus have become more religious since the independence and have voted in an Hindu extremist party BJP into power. In this regard, Hindus seem to be copying Muslims across the world in religious politics. This party has pushed religious polarization of India by trying to enact laws to impose Hindu dietary rules and taboos upon non-Hindus across the country, such as banning beef. Hindus have lynched Muslims as a result. They once attacked churches too for other reasons. It is the Hindu extremists who are trying to divide India on religious lines.
Christian right wing is truth and accepted all across the secular countries of Western World, India is no different when compared to European and American countries. Infact, in India there are public holidays for minority religion, while Western countries don't. India like majority Western country has secular constitution while majority of Muslim countries has a theocracy.

This Aryan Dravidian stuff is totally ignored in Karnataka, the neighboring state of Tamilnadu. I guess this is not even an issue with the masses in Tamilnadu.

As you rightly said, this is missionary's mission:)
Except internet warriors I have never seen South Indians talking about Aryan-Dravidian race. In North India, we never give a damn about Aryan race.

Because in India, media talks only about Hindu extremism and would be silent about extremism about minority communities and religious groups. Its not just Hindus, even mosques and Churches are involved in politics, all communities votes based on religious ground. Many of the incident of church attacks were falsely accused on Hindu groups, like Calcutta nun rape case first accused to Hindu extremism and later it was found illegal Bangladeshis were involved into it.

Cow slaughtering and force feeding beef has historically been used as a mean for persecuting Hindus, the Mughal or the Portuguese Inquisitioners resorted to it. Cow slaughtering laws were not even framed by BJP government, many of such laws exists before BJP came into existence or states where BJP never had a government in independent India's 70 years history.

Excellent point about cow slaughter.
It was routinely used by the Islamic kings as a method terrorising the Hindus and defiling the temples. Even Akbar's army did it.
People are unaware of the ghastly history that is associated with cow slaughter in India especially i the north and northwest.

:D You do not acknowledge. That does not make Aryan migration non-existant.

Whatever, cow-slaughter ban is not a wise-step economically. In Nagaland number of cows increased five-fold but in Haryana, their numbers halved. Does anybody thinks that 'Gopvernment Gaushalas' would save cows? Remember, it is the Netas who eat fodder, not the cows. Cows would become an endangered species. No one can afford an non-economic animal.

I am glad they did that. As a result, Hindus in Goa had taken a liking to beef dishes. What's more? Hindus from elsewhere in India where beef is banned go to Goa to taste the forbidden meat (they go to Kerala too). Once you eat it, you are hooked, because it is the best tasting meat - the king of meats. Sorry to see Brahmins forbid Hindus from eating such a tasty food. Another harm done to Indians by the Brahmins!
