Will other planets be colonized by short humans?

Guys do not become stronger from low gravity. They become softer & weaker, because their body is much less physically challenged & exercised. Astronauts coming back to earth after a few months in space can't even walk on their own on arrival. They have to be seriously propped up.

Going by the same experience & logic, folks living on a high gravity planet would actually evolve to become stronger & bigger.

LOL. You just said in your previous post that higher gravity would suit smaller people.

Now you're saying the opposite, that Tibetans evolved to become small from living in low gravity Tibetan highlands. Which is indeed evidence backing up my side of the argument.

Can't have it both ways, dude.

Yeah the example of Tibetans was bad, I deleted it. They probably evolved small for other reasons, maybe due to the shortage of oxygen at high altitudes.

But other planets will likely also have shortages of oxygen - just like high altitude parts of the Earth. Another reason why a stocky breed is better adapted.

It is not the low gravity that makes Tibetans stocky & sturdy. It is their frequent walking up & down their mountainous land.

Resources on other planets will likely also be limited and there will very likely be shortages of oxygen.

Look at human races who survive in low oxygen and high altitude environments. How do they look like?

They are short and stocky. Peoples like Tibetans, Peruvian Quechuas, Bolivian Aymaras come to mind.

It is not the low gravity that makes Tibetans stocky & sturdy. It is their frequent walking up & down their mountainous land.
But apart from being stocky and sturdy, they are also short. What made them short? Low oxygen likely.

Rarefied low oxygen highlands atmosphere makes people evolve into efficient breathers with big lungs. While the mountainous terrain makes them develop sturdy bodies.

But low gravity only makes people softer & weaker.

They are actually two diametrically opposite & different things.

Why do you think in our Science Fiction novels and movies, inhabitants of other planets are, usually, depicted as very short creatures?:

On subconscious level SF creators already know what I'm discussing here. That short people are better adapted for space colonization.
