WWII how important was the Pacific?

Germany could have beaten the world if US never joined. Alot of technologies tha twere used in later-post WWII were German .... to name 2 ... the Atomic Bomb (We stole alot of info from the germans) and the jet engines. Both for planes and rockets.

The Pacific was just as important as Europe in my opinion. Japan put up quite a fight against the US. The nuke was the only factor really because heck, the Japanese would've never surrendered. They were just eating one island after another. When it touched Hawaii, that is finally when US realized. You know how the Japanese said that they woke the sleeping giant.

If it weren't for the Pacific side, Europe would be called something like The Third Reich.
