Fair enough, and I should have clarified. My point was directed at the ones I'm most familiar with. Many here in America unapolgetically accept all the benefits that America has to offer, but also unapologetically excoriate it as evil incarnate. I don't mean to minimize the many excesses that America has, but I'd be lying if I said that I haven't benefited from the largess of America. It just seems disingenuous that some Americans stridently note the bad while ignoring the benefits they have received.
Considering that all mass shooting in US are done by American citizens who claim to be "American" because their people immigrated to America many generations before the new immigrants, its hard to know who actually hates America more, new immigrants or the failed immigrants of some generations past.
People always blame their own failure on "the other" and immigrants are the perfect target, and has been for ages.
Hitler's main argument was that Jews hate Germany.
