Considering that all mass shooting in US are done by American citizens who claim to be "American" because their people immigrated to America many generations before the new immigrants, its hard to know who actually hates America more, new immigrants or the failed immigrants of some generations past.

People always blame their own failure on "the other" and immigrants are the perfect target, and has been for ages.

Hitler's main argument was that Jews hate Germany.

Hitler's main argument was that a Jew can never be a German, despite most German Jews identifying as Germans. He claimed that by virtue of their Jewish blood, they were socially, culturally and even biologically disposed to do things which were detrimental to Germany, her culture and the "racial purity" of her people. He didn't make such extreme claims about other non-Germans. Hitler wasn't the bog standard racist, he had pseudo science on his side.

Hitler was the worst thing that could happen to Germany and Germany fervor will be stained by the legacy of that one man. The price of irrational hatred always far outweighs its instant cheap thrills.

One aspect of Roman empire that was a source of strength and intelligent policy was their policy of allowing others to become Roman citizen and including people from all over the empire in their army. The same barbarians of the north that they butchered like animals in most cases, also become guards and soldiers for the same army. Now that is why Rome was so great and many do not even come close to them.

I do not think you are asking what you are appearing to be asking. What you are asking in my opinions is not if immigrants have right to like or dislike country but if they have right to turn it to their liking. Even if that is against liking of its old inhabitants.

And that is quit different question.

Please forgive me bit of self-assumption.

When you think about it, there is some similarity between radical "ethical" vegetarianism/veganism and nazi theory of racial superiority. These people seems to believe that those who eat carrots are superior beings.

I know someone who carries a little bottle of coconut milk around with her because she refuses to drink cow's milk. To judge by her, these people don't have any claim to being a superior race, because she is exceedingly stupid and looks like death warmed up.

I know vegans who claim that no animal drinks milk when adult, that eggs are "chicken menstruation" and that honey is "bee s**t". And I mean literally, not just like some metaphor. Those people lack basic knowledge of biology. They are like religious sect.

I was vegan once, I went stick thin, looked gaunt and was physically weak. Not a pretty look at all. I ended up eating animal products again simply to feel healthier.
