Were pants or braies with chausses worn in 1100-1200 England and France?

I'm not exactly sure when did the transition happened from pants, seemingly worn universally during Dark Ages, and braies with chausses that were apparently universal by mid 1200s (as by Morgan Bible illustrations, for example) - was it about XI century or before? And what was born in Norman England and contemporary France during the time of first few crusades?

From the hazy memory of research done way too long ago, it was hosen (chausses) and braies from c. 1100 at latest, and probably a lot earlier. I think even Charlemagne is mentioned wearing hosen. It's a little stickier in Saxon England, but there must be a few hints in artwork? I'd be willing to bet that at least higher-class Englishmen were in braies and hosen by 1000, though for all we know the Scandinavians were still in trousers through 1066...

Insufficient data!

Yeah, I'm trying to find some artworks/seals from 1100s where it will be seen more clearly; I'll write here if I find something noticeable.

Do you have a picture of what you mean by pants and by braies?

Updating on myself - so far from illustrations where you can see any leg details I found only - it was obvious - Bayeux Tapestry; there it seems both Normans and Anglo-Saxons are wearing chausses.
