Hello everyone - I am the new editor of Medieval Warfare magazine, and I wanted to post here to get your opinions about the magazine. The magazine has been around for about six years, and you can find it on newsstands in the US, UK, Canada and other parts of Europe. The website is . . . link deleted by mod. Advertising rates available upon request.

If you have been reading/subscribing to the magazine, what do you like and dislike about it? What would you want to see more of?

As for people who haven't read the magazine - what would you want to have in a magazine about medieval warfare?

I officially became the editor about three weeks ago, and I am getting ready my first issue, which will be on the Templars, that will come out this fall. The magazine goes out 6 times per year, so we are always looking for new ideas and topics - our current issue is about the Byzantine/Sassanid wars, followed by the Norman Conquest of Ireland.

Thanks,
Peter Konieczny

I honestly never knew it existed, but am going to check it out and respond.

Very surprised there aren't a lot of responses here.

Hello there,

I've been a subscriber of both Ancient Warfare and Medieval Warfare for years (since they started, really) and I have always been very satisfied with the quality of the content and with the service.

As for what I'd like to see more of, perhaps some more articles on warfare between the Italian city-states. My favorite conflict is the war between the Visconti of Milan and Florence in the early 15th century.

Continue the great work!
