My vote goes to Ezekiel 23:19-21.

Yet she became more and more promiscuous as she recalled the days of her youth, when she was a prostitute in Egypt. There she lusted after her lovers, whose genitals were like those of donkeys and whose emission was like that of horses.

She sounds like she was busy.

Biblical nymphos have nothing on the courtesans of the Renaissance! I guess she knew what she wanted. Can't an old .... dream of bygone days?

It is an interestingly worded translation, though.

So I'll pose the question again....

''Perverted in whose view yours (today) or theirs in the context and era in which it was written.''

King James?

"Yet she multiplied her whoredoms, in calling to remembrance the days of her youth, wherein she had played the harlot in the land of Egypt.

For she doted upon their paramours, whose flesh is as the flesh of ....., and whose issue is like the issue of horses.

Thus thou calledst to remembrance the lewdness of thy youth, in bruising thy teats by the Egyptians for the paps of thy youth."

Please elaborate.

Apparently Catherine The Great died from shagging a horse, her last words were supposedly:

"Come on then Dobbin, let's see how big you really are."

I think the Bible has a few verses about the righteousness of bumming, not that I've ever looked of course. The Caananite religion was by far the best.

Wanna ask me the same questions? :)

I was under the impression that the Canaanites spent most of their religious activities performing obscene acts.

CV is right. They may well have been sexually promiscuous, but also engaged in child sacrifice.

It highlights the sigificance in Judaism of the myth of Abraham and Isaac, when god orders Abraham to kill his son, but then stops him at the last moment by providing a ram. It marks a change in a philosophy of sacrifice.

As for the OP, I humbly submit the story of Lot and his daughters.

"Genesis 19:30-38" said:
30And Lot went up out of Zoar, and dwelt in the mountain, and his two daughters with him; for he feared to dwell in Zoar: and he dwelt in a cave, he and his two daughters.

31And the firstborn said unto the younger, Our father is old, and there is not a man in the earth to come in unto us after the manner of all the earth:
32Come, let us make our father drink wine, and we will lie with him, that we may preserve seed of our father.
33And they made their father drink wine that night: and the firstborn went in, and lay with her father; and he perceived not when she lay down, nor when she arose.
34And it came to pass on the morrow, that the firstborn said unto the younger, Behold, I lay yesternight with my father: let us make him drink wine this night also; and go thou in, and lie with him, that we may preserve seed of our father.
35And they made their father drink wine that night also: and the younger arose, and lay with him; and he perceived not when she lay down, nor when she arose.
36Thus were both the daughters of Lot with child by their father.
37And the first born bare a son, and called his name Moab: the same is the father of the Moabites unto this day. 38And the younger, she also bare a son, and called his name Benammi: the same is the father of the children of Ammon unto this day.

Song of Solomon holds a great deal of verses that are. For instance
Song of Solomon Chap.8:1 KJV O That thou wert as my brother that sucked at the ......s of my mother! when I should find thee without; I would kiss thee; yea,I should not be despised.

And read all of Chapter 7,it is an interesting poetic description of many things.
