I have never been in Korea but we live in information era. It's not so hard to find info on every country. BTW, I have bought Korean language book for beginners published in Seoul, but it's absolutely weird.

There's a deep learning curve when learning Korean, mostly on vocabulary. Be careful about that.

Is Japan the pride of Asia?

Yes, because they have a good infrastructure which includes among other things waste management. Even parts of Italy, like e. g. Naples, have big waste problems.

In India, many people don't even have toilets. From a historical viewpoint, it is funny to know that 3000 years ago the Indus valley people had a toilet in every home.

Well, India has probably the biggest waste problem in the world.

Pollution in general is a major issue in India. Think about the contaminated rivers Ganga and Yamuna, think about Delhi which has the world's dirtiest air. Modi wants to build coal and nuclear power stations instead of investing in renewable energy sources.

You just showed your total lack of knowledge about any of the subjects you talk about repeatedly over and over again.

98% of Taiwan's population is made out of Han Chinese, 85% of them are Hoklo and Hakka who migrated from southern Fujian and invaded and colonized Taiwan after driving the Dutch out.

Learn the difference before humiliating yourself, "Taiwanese" people are actually Han Chinese colonizers, they are totally different from native Aboriginals.

Nobody supports Dutch rule, which happened over 340 years ago.

The people in Hong Kong are not even natives, but recent migrants from other parts of China who migrated there after it was conceded to the British. Before British rule, it was a barely populated fishing village.

The dude clearly is a troll with an agenda. Otherwise he would mention that those in Hong Kong who support British rule are in the minority.

You know that admins can

!. Either see you are living in the exact same city as the banned accounts if you are using a computer in another location.

2. Can see right through your proxy ip address and even see that you are using the same web browser (internet explorer, firefox) as your normal ip address uses. It isn't just your ip address which is availible to the admins. And they can tell if the ip address is a proxy and that you have something to hide.

No they are not in the minority. All Hong Kong Chinese in America are quite vocal in their adamant distaste of Chinese colonization. Please don't .

What? No, they're the minority.

They're mostly young kids that has attended international school, was not old enough to remember British rule - came back from oversea areas such as Canada, UK, etc..., are christian and try to become as western as possible. They're even ashamed of their own ethnic roots and chinese name. They often give themselves ridiculous english names.

An irrational portion of them are also often mocked on HK forums for hating the mainlanders for things other than manners(which is more understandable) despite all their parents being from their mainland and visit their parent's hometown often back in China w/ the Return to Hometown pink cards.
There are different camps- HK is not some city with a monolithic opinion. It depends on the situation, time, and place.
During the Olympics, most of the HKers cheer on the PRC team - never the Brits.

Anyway most of these kids grow out of it - although the Christian ones do tend to keep persisting. I know these kind of kids and most adults just find them annoying.

How do you even claim to know the HK social cultures? Are you a maid? :)

Young kids ? Hmmm I don't think so  it's the elderly Hong Kong generation who are the most vocal about the Chinese .... and ravaging of their people thanks to the Chinese colonists invading their lands. Yes they look Chinese, they sound Chinese, but they truly do hate the Chinese... very much. So much they would secede their land to Britain or Japan at the drop of a hat. - If they could :persevere:.

The younger southern Chinese are not as nationalistic and are rather pro-Chinese in comparison to the older generations of Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Thanks for calling me a maid. You know the Southern Chinese colony people were shipped as slaves by the Qing colonialists - to America where they were forced to slave away on railroads. At least we are not slaves.

Nope. Couldn't be more wrong. Don't pretend to know about HK. The older generation is happy that their old hometowns and relatives' lives are getting better and have a positive impression of PRC.
It's the younger generations educated abroad or in international schools, joins NGOs and agitate for rights that are vocal. Everytime they agitate for something, the first thing that comes out of an old guy's mouth is "痴線!".

You can claim otherwise, but you have absolutely no credentials in this matter.

China now has a better shipbuilding industry. South Korea has a failing nuclear power plant called Gori (고리원전) that could contaminate China and Japan by air. South Korea's chemical industry mostly relies on Japan as South Korea is suffering from a huge brain drain.

Are you sure you know much about South Korea?

You chinese really are crazy. What is your source? Chinaman..

Consider the current South Korean political situation, it doesn't look like South Korea would survive in 10 years. What matter is that North Korea can take over South Korea without a single bullet. But it isn't true vice versa.

After all, the former North Korean bureaucrat Hwang Jang-yeop once said that "there are 10,000 North Korean spies in South Korea and they are capable of bringing down South Korea without creating any form of violence."

And this is why I support South Korea to become a part of China. I absolutely see no future for my parent's homeland.

HaHa

You are truely a Chinese nationalist.
You are the second strongest Chinese nationalist since YummYakitori in Chinese history forum.
becoming a part of China?? Is this joking right??

Better to become a part of USA or suicide.

By the way, Give me sources why you think.

Because I can see a lot future possiability in Korea unlike you.

I don't know. This is what I see after living in this country for almost 5 years. But I have Canada and HM the Queen in my heart.

You're an Aussie (since you're from Melbourne), a proud and loyal subject to the British Crown. I think you know what I'm saying.

So you are Australian

He's Australian, alright. A fellow Commonwealther!

So let me say this to you in Korean.

넌 호주 사람이지, 한국사람은 아니잖아. / You're not a Korean but an Aussie.
넌 영국의 여왕에 충성을 맹세해야지. / You should be loyal to Queen Elizabeth II.
넌 절대로 한국사람을 아니야. / You are never a Korean in the first place.
하지만 걱정마. / But don't worry.
호주 사람이 되는 것이 한국사람 되는 것보다 훨씬 낫단 말이야. / Being an Aussie is much better than being a Korean.

But how can I be a Chinese nationalist I was born in Canada?
But how can I be a Chinese nationalist when I'm very loyal to HM the Queen?

The truth is that I'm not even a Chinese nationalist. And my Mandarin is worse than my Russian.

I find this entire idea of 'pride of Asia' as nonsense. While everything in post 1800 world is creation of Westerners, idea of Asian as some identity is remarkably artificial. What this 'Asia' is actually? Japan has shown that pre western high advancements coupled by Westernisation can make you very rich and powerful, does not mean that people from other nations should be proud of this simply because Japan lies in a continent called Asia,it is like people of Turkmenistan proud of England because of 'Eurasia'.

Asia has many zones- East Asia, West Asia, Central Asia, South East Asia and Indian subcontinent. All regions are distinct and world in themselves. I have more reason to be proud of achievements of Iraq ( if it ever would achieve something) than those of Japan.
