Did you not read the article??? It said that MLK was a republican without strong political affiliations. The same thing I said on the first page of this very thread. You don't need a bing or google search to find that.... You seem to be arguing with yourself.
In fact, here's one of my two posts basically stating what your argument is here:
Nope. Southern Democrats were still a very much racist organization during the Civil Rights Movement. Look up the party register during the 60's and you'll see a few names jump out at you.
That was in response to Andy's statement that he believed MLK was a democrat.
